Gifts to Evangelical Christian School on or before December 31 will be considered tax deductible for that year. Checks must be dated and postmarked on or before December 31st. Stock transactions must be initiated on or before December 31st.
Many companies will match an employee’s gift to an eligible educational institution. Enclose your matching gift form from your company with your gift, and ECS will complete and submit the form to your company.
Pledges may be made for gifts to the school. This provides our donors with a way to spread the payments of the pledge over a period of time. Pledges require the donor to fill out and sign a pledge card. Please contact Trey Adams for more information.
Honorary gifts recognize special individuals, anniversaries or events while memorial gifts recognize lifetime accomplishments of individuals who have passed away. Honorary or memorial gifts can be unrestricted or designated and can be made on line or by check/cash. All gifts are recognized with a card sent to the honoree or family of the memorialized individual.
Before creating your estate plan or before you sell your business, property, or other appreciated assets, take time to learn about your charitable options. By including qualified charities in your planning you can legally channel capital gains taxes, income taxes, and estate taxes towards the support of Christian causes like ECS. To learn more about your options contact Wendell Thompson.
