Choral Music


ECS Choral Music exists for the glory of God to instill in students an excellent view of music as it relates to our worldview and the arts. Through the study and performance of music literature students will gain a proper understanding and appreciation of God’s beauty in music.




FLIGHT is the ECS Upper School
auditioned a cappella group.  




Jacquelyn Skoog

Director of Music

Originally from Littleton, CO, Jacquelyn holds a Master's degree in vocal performance from Ole Miss. She has appeared internationally in various works from musical theater, to opera. In 2014 she appeared as the soprano soloist in the Paris Choral Festival and in 2015, premiered the role of Ophelia in the new opera "Hamlet: Prince of Denmark" at the Vinohrady Theater, in Prague. She has studied as a young artist in the Tyrol Opera Program and Opera Maya. Her favorite roles have included Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Adina (L'elisir D'amore), Pirelli (Sweeney Todd), and Junie B. Jones in (Jingle Bells Batman Smells). She most recently appeared as Honey inWho’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and as Guenevere in Camelot. Her film credits include Jessica in Hongo, Jaci in Killers, and Secretary in Sun Records.
