ECS maintains accreditation from Southern Association of Independent Schools and Association of Christian Schools International Exemplary Accreditation based on an extensive evaluation process every five years. In 2016, that process was expanded as ECS pursued the Exemplary school status.

Now one of only eleven schools in the nation and one of only two in the entire Southeast,
Evangelical Christian School has been designated as an ACSI Exemplary School.
