To me, this picture is inspiring. Take a moment to contemplate what this picture communicates.
There is an adage that says, "A picture is worth a thousand words." To me, this picture is inspiring. Take a moment to contemplate what this picture communicates. The story it tells ... It captures a moment in time where a junior student, Tyler Jiles, paused to tie the shoes of Jonathan Sanders, a freshman at ECS. It is a moment in time that happened organically. Tyler saw a need and responded. No applause. No thought went through his head, I hope someone sees this. Pure servant leadership on full display. It communicates selflessness, hope, servanthood, unity, diversity, sympathy, help, brotherhood, and care. Essentially, this picture inspires me to abound in hope, which is our theme this year, drawn directly from Romans 15:13, which states: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
I am thankful for Tracey Simpson who serves tirelessly to take exceptional pictures of our athletic teams.
