Biography

Vita Swindell is in her 11th year at ECS. She previously served as guidance counselor as well as PACE and Technology teacher at both the former Forest Hill and Ridge Lake campuses. She has prior experience as the Director of Children’s Ministry in her local church. In her current role as Lower School Student Support Specialist, she works with students, teachers, and parents to provide a program of academic support for students in JK through fifth grades who need assistance to achieve academic success in the classroom. As PACE Teacher, she oversees the Lower School program for gifted and talented students in fifth grade and also teaches Early Childhood STEM classes.

Mrs. Swindell has been married to her husband Tim for 37 years. They are the parents of one daughter, Aynne Worthington, who is an ECS graduate in the class of 2008. Mr. and Mrs. Swindell are active members at Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church..
