Kathy Kallaher has taught for38 years with 34 of those years being at ECS. She taught in the upper school for 20 years before moving to the middle school 14 years ago, where she teaches 8th grade Classical Literature and English. While in the upper school, she taught 9th grade literature and had various responsibilities, including cheer sponsor and student council sponsor.
Mrs. Kallaher is a widow with three children, all of whom attended ECS from kindergarten through graduation. Jay is a financial analyst with MLGW; John is an air traffic controller; and Karen is employed by a local law firm. Mrs. Kallaher also has five grandchildren: Daniel, an ECS graduate and presently a senior at the University of Memphis; Matthew, an ECS graduate and presently a freshman at the University of Memphis; Andrew, a White Station senior; Meghan, a seventh grader at White Station Middle School; and Colin, a White Station Middle School sixth grader..
Mrs. Kallaher is a long-time member of First Evangelical Church. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and Sir Scamper, her Yorkiepoo.
