Mrs. Christine Luketic

Mrs. Luketic is in her sixth year at ECS and her 29th year in education. Originally from suburban Chicago, she has spent most of her professional years teaching in Christian schools throughout Southern California, with a brief period in editorial work and a detour into law school and legal practice. She has taught high school Bible, regular and AP government, economics, AP European history, journalism, personal finance, and computer literacy, and she has advised student newspaper and yearbook staffs. Mrs. Luketic currently teaches both regular and AP Government, and she co-advises the ECS Model United Nations and Youth in Government teams.
Mrs. Luketic has been married to her husband, Barrett, for 37 years. Their daughter, Anna, and her husband, Daniel Sargeant, live in Austin, Texas. Anna serves on staff in the children’s ministry at their church, the Austin Stone, and Daniel is a software engineer for Under Armour. Mr. and Mrs. Luketic attend First Evangelical Church.
