Barrett Luketic is in his 28th year as a high school principal and seventh year as upper school principal at ECS. Prior to ECS, he served as a faculty member, department chair, academic counselor, assistant principal, principal and/or head of school in four Southern California Christian high schools. His teaching career began in Florida public schools where he taught fourth grade and special education. Mr. Luketic has coached boys 8th grade, JV and varsity basketball, JV and varsity football, and varsity track and field. He has fulfilled board member responsibilities with a private school accreditation agency, a state governing body of interscholastic athletics and an educational foundation.Mr. Luketic has been married to his wife, Chris, for 37 years. Their daughter, Anna, and her husband, Daniel Sargeant, live in Austin, Texas. Anna serves on staff in the children’s ministry at their church, and Daniel is a software engineer.
