Paula Threlkeld joined the ECS staff in 2002. Her primary responsibility is teaching music to the lower school students. Over the years she has enriched her time with other jobs such as GO Choir Director, A.S.A.P. Director (After School Arts Program), piano and harp teacher, sound technician, choreographer, Chapel coordinator, and others. Her goal is to motivate each child in a joyful atmosphere to appreciate, create, and learn the arts with the purpose of sharing it for the glory of God – at school, at home, and anywhere the Lord leads.
Mrs. Threlkeld has been married to her husband, Carter, since 1979. They have six children: Josh (who is married to Kerrye), Sarah, Maria (who is married to Alex), Alicia ( who is married to Jesse), Zachary, and Brian. Five of the children are involved in music ministry at various places. The Threlkelds also enjoy their seven grandchildren. Paula serves as a harpist at Bellevue Baptist Church where her husband has been the Minister of Instrumental Music since 1982.
