Ms Shireen Brandt
M.Psych, Clinical psychology, University of South Africa
B.Ed., Educational leadership, University of the Witwatersrand
Shireen Brandt is in her twelfth year at ECS and she is currently the Instructional Facilitator at the Lower School campus. In this position she provides faculty with the support and resources they require to effectively implement the curriculum as well as the strategic and efficient integration of technology into their lessons. She assists both faculty and students in effective skill and tool selection. She is also responsible for the PACE program, the coordination of The Eagle’s Eye reporters, special events, the yearbook, awards ceremonies and academic testing at this location.
In addition to a specialized undergraduate education degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, she has graduate degrees in educational management and pediatric clinical psychology which she read at the University of South Africa. Although multilingual, Ms. Brandt navigates the nuances of the Southern dialect and is vastly entertained by combinations such as “might could.” She is excited to finally switch passports and anticipates soon being a challenge for those responsible for jury selection.
